Meet Mr. D:

I am a proud alumni of Hernando High School. After high school, I attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and continued my education further at the University of Mississippi. I graduated May 2021 with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a minor in English, History and Sociology.

This will begin my 9th academic school year with O.B.M.S and D.C.S. but my 3rd year as a full time classroom instructor. There have been numerous roles that I have played during my tenure here ranging from S.P.E.D. to P.E. and other capacities. Although I graduated as a Hernando Tiger, I have become a Quistor for life. I am a firm believer that every child deserves a chance and hope to one day be as impactful of a teacher as I was blessed to have been taught by.

I am a lifelong fan of the Ole Miss Rebels, Oakland Raiders, and Chicago Bulls. I obviously can appreciate the beauty in not always winning. For two seasons, I was the Game Emcee for the Mississippi Riverkings.

I am a peacock loving, sweet tea drinking, all around fun guy who wants to ensure I impart knowledge, wisdom and appreciation into the lives with which I cross paths.
