Administrative Team

Caleb Shepard, Principal

Mr. Caleb Shepard, Principal

I am excited and honored to join the team at Olive Branch Middle School, where I have the privilege of serving as the new principal in the community I call home. My wife, Lindsey, and I relocated to Olive Branch, MS, in 2011. I taught at Southaven High School before moving into the role of Assistant Principal at Hernando High School, where I have been since 2014. I earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and, prior to that, earned degrees from Mississippi State University and East Central Community College.

Lindsey and I have been married for 15 years and have two children, Asa Grace (6) and Jett (4). In my spare time, I enjoy family, Bible study, golf, gardening, hunting, and cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. My family and I are active members at Great Commission Church.

I am eager to meet the parents and students of OBMS, and I look forward to leading the exceptional teachers and staff as we grow and develop the next generation of Olive Branch. We will build on our culture of success by maintaining a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning for each student. All can grow and be successful in life, and our role as educators and administrators is to support each student in that journey. I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, comments, or concerns. Let’s have a great year!
