Subjects Taught
7th Grade Eastern Hemisphere, PE

In 2007, I graduated from Chaffee High School in Chaffee, Missouri. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education (K-12) from Westminster College in 2011.  I received my Master of Science (M.S) in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University in 2014.  I recently completed my Education Specialist (Ed.S) in Supervisor of Instruction through the University of the Cumberlands.

Prior to coming to Desoto County last year, I spent five years teaching and coaching in Missouri.  I spent my first three years teaching PE, health, and weight training classes at Holcomb Jr./Sr. High School.  I was the head volleyball coach, head jr. high baseball coach, and assistant varsity baseball coach.

My last two years were spent at Portageville High School where I taught World History and Geography.  In addition to teaching, I was the JV / asst. varsity volleyball coach, 7th grade football coach, and the Head Varsity baseball coach.

This is my second year at OBM where I serve as Eastern Hemisphere, PE teacher and assistant football coach.

I have a huge passion for education and sports which makes teaching and coaching a perfect profession for me.  At Westminster, I majored in Physical Education with minors in Exercise Science, Coaching, and Personal Training--all while playing on the varsity football and baseball teams.
