7th Grade Math, 8th Grade Math

I grew up in Grenada, MS where I attended 1st grade-12th grade. I graduated from GHS in 1999 and went on to attend MDCC in Moorhead, MS and HCC in Grenada, MS. I went back to the University of Mississippi to complete my degree and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education (K-6), Highly Qualified in Math (7-12) and English (7-12) and History (7-12). I also recently completed my Masters of Science in Education, Educational Leadership degree from Arkansas State University in May, 2016.

This is my 7th year teaching! My first year teaching was at Grenada Alternative School teaching Math/Science to 7th-12th graders as well as the G.E.D. program. My second and third years teaching were at Grenada Middle School teaching 6th grade Math and Social Studies. Every year since I have been here at OBMS teaching 6th Grade, 7th Grade, or 8th Grade Math.

I grew up in Grenada, MS where I met my husband. I married Dan Ratliff as soon as we finished college. Together we have three beautiful babies: Katie Beth (9th grader @ OBHS), Justin (7th grader @ OBMS), and Samantha (5th grader @ OBIS).

We moved to Olive Branch to be closer to family and have fell in love with the people and the area. We attend church at Friendship Church of Christ in Olive Branch.

I attended the University of Mississippi and Arkansas State University, but we are HUGE MISSISSIPPI STATE fans!! I love pottery, picture frames, and candles and I have a large collection of crosses of all sizes.
